Máy thử này dùng đẻ đánh giá chỉ số chảy của nhựa dẻo trong quá trình chế tạo.
Mẫu thử nóng chảy trong xi lanh được đặt ở một nhiệt độ cụ thể sẽ được đùn từ khuôn.
Trong quá trình đùn, áp lực và độ nhớt trượt được phát hiện để đo độ nhớt chảy của mẫu thử.
Máy được trang bị một hệ thống làm sạch tự động cho phép vận hành liên tục chạy 1 chu kỳ kiểm tra ( option 3 chu kỳ kiểm tra).
Người kiểm tra có thể được lựa chọn giữa loại tải nhẹ và loại tải nặng theo tải trọng tối đa của mẫu thử.
